Our purpose and focus is to raise funds from various community events and donated resources to assist in offsetting costs that are otherwise incurred by the Police Department.

Our founders take financial requests from the Police Chief or his designee on items that may or may not be funded by the PCPD and allocate funds to areas as needed. The funds may be directed to special equipment purchases, enhanced training, outreach programs, and officer safety. The Friends of the Plant City Police Department Foundation does not fund personnel, lethal weapons, and police vehicles.
